Well... here it is... finally... Shop Hop Part 2.
Our first stop on our list today is the ever so famous...
"Quilt Etc." ...
Next we see Miss Sandra Sherlock Holmes herself... ready to solve any quilt mystery you may have and to introduce you to their book and theme... "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes". Isn't she the best! I just love that girl!
The quilt they designed not only has all of the different shop hop blocks but... holds all the clues to help you solve their mystery. Very clever!
Now your mystery is... to again see what quilt it is that you like best.
Now on to the next shop...
"Elaines"...
where they featured the classic book "Treasure Island".
They even had a map quilt ready to help you find the treasure. And of course... it had all of the different shop's blocks. Wonderful quilt... great idea!
This is the spooky quilt that greeted us as we went in...
This was my first treasure...
and... well... I will say no more!
Another... LOL!
Lots of treasures... I know! Sew cute!
Marilyn the owner's treasure... a vintage wedding ring quilt that she has had in the store from day one.
Are you still with me? Don't take off yet... lots more eye candy ahead and just two more shops to go.
"Quilting Cottage" was another shop that was part of the "Scenic Byway Hop".
They always have such adorable quilts.
Here is my sweet friend Paula... ready to help us with what ever we needed.
This beautiful quilt and the next one are her own designs.
They both are now on my to do list.
I love that she made this the back. Gorgeous!
Cuteness!
Very sweet... another I loved!
Off again... this time...
"American Quilting"!
"Anne of Green Gables" was their book choice and this was one of the darling quilts they made using that theme.
Here is the second one. It was made using all of the shop hop blocks.
This is Amy's (owner) "Saturday Sampler" quilt that she designed for this last year. I so adore her creations! Her patterns are "Under the Garden Moon".
I love how they used the green in this quilt!
How cute is this journal cover!?!
Another creation by Amy!
Sew totally wonderful!
This is the quilt that Amy designed for last year's AQ quilt retreat that she sponsers every year.
What Amy does with wool... has got to be the cutest ever! Love.... love... love this Halloween wreath! That girl is incredible!
Hope you were well feed and found a favorite quilt or two along the way.
Remember... Just like last time... leave me a comment telling me which quilt it is that you love and I will see if I can find my Prince Charming again and have him draw another lucky winning number!
Thanks for dropping by! It's been real sweet... now go recover!

Wow how fun! And what beautiful quilts! I really like the Journal cover. Such a creative way to use HST's. Thanks for sharing.
Saturday Sampler!!
Thanks so much for posting all of the photos from the shop hop. I love the house quilt by Edyta Sitar at American Quilting. That one's definitely on my list to make.
Drool, drool, drool.
*knocks everyone out of the way and runs to the Green Gables quilt*
OMG. I have to make this. I didn't know this before your posts, but I guess I'm a sucker for quilts based on books! Maybe I should start one. I also like quilts with houses on them.
Thanks so much for sharing!
They are all terrific, but for me it has to be a Quilt for Alice. My dear friend is named Alice and she is about to celebrate her 99th birthday.
Brilliant quilts! So hard to choose!!!
I love the colours of the first circle-quilt.I love the work done in the "How does your garden grow" quilt, and finally I like the Saturday Sampler quilt as well.
(Is that cheating - choosing 3 quilts I like?)
Loved the hexagon quilt from Quilting Cottage. Would love the pattern. Thanks for the quilt show.
This is the next best thing to being there with you.
My favorite (hard to decide!) was the last one from Quilting Cottage. I can see it's a Nellie's Needle design.
And I didn't know Paula was designing her own patterns! I'm checking this out!
(Waving frantically) I love the one that has hexagons pieced from triangles!! It is right before the picture of the "American Quilting" storefront. I couldn't see a name when I embiggened the picture, but I love it just the same! Sweet!

Thanks for all of the great pictures from your shop hop.
I'm going to have to go quilt shopping in Utah--you have great shops there!!! All of the quilts are beautiful, but I think my favorite today is the Moda Quilts of Valor quilt. I also like the quilt made using the Twister ruler and the Saturday Sampler quilt. (sorry, I couldn't pick just one!)
Beautiful eye candy! Love the Rosie Tweets.
Sheweeee what fun!!! Thanks for taking us with you!
Спасибо за интересную экскурсию! Столько красивых покрывал!Сразу хочется что-то и себе сделать.
Oh they're all so fun. Thanks for sharing Rae Ann. I think my favorite is the house one with the tree and fence by American Quilting (so unique!)
Oh so beautiful - what a lovely feast for the eyes!! I love them all!! One that really took my eye is the scrappy houses with the trees and birds near the end - I've just got that book ans SO want to make it. Have a great day!!!
Seriously?? We only get to pick ONE?? Oh my. Well, I guess the one I really fell in love with (after drooling over MANY) was the flag quilt at Elaine's - pictured just beneath the friendly pirate. :-) Love love LOVE their choice of fabrics in that quilt, too!

WOW!!!! How do I pick just one? OK, Number 6 wins - it is just so sweet and gorgeous. Thanks for the show!
Several quilts I'd like to make! I guess at this very moment, my favorite is the one with the hexagons on white background at Quilting Cottage, but tomorrow I'm sure it would be something different! Thanks for the "show"!
I'm so glad you were able to go and I sure missed out this year but I'm happy that you took so many great pictures so I could feel like I was there. I loved every quilt you took pictures of but especially a few at Amy's place and Paula's quilts. What a fun time!
My favorite is the Anne of Green Gables quilt. The yo-yo's and the little quilt on the clothes line, all of it is darling!
Wow, I feel as if I were at a quilt show. So much to look at and all so amazing. I realy like the quillt with the flags in the stars. Very neat!! Thank you for sharing the "hop" with us!
They are all such beautiful quilts. I can't choose just one favourite!
Yippee Skippee!!! I am so happy to have this recap. I still haven't seen any other blog recaps yet. So, AGAIN, I am thankful for you doing this. My favorite is the simple American Quilting quilt that, fittingly enough, is available today - July 1st. I love the colors and the pinwheels. There are several that were so neat and I'm always impressed with the quilt that Quilts ETC. does. That was a neat idea. So many of the applique (sp?) were really neat to see but I haven't done any of that yet. So, I look at the more simple things that I "think" I could do. Again, thanks!!!!
Oh that's easy - all of the above. teehee! Actually I'm quite taken with the one with the houses and large fruit applique.
Thank you for taking us along - I had a wonderful time. :-)
So many fun quilts..so hard to choose..Thanks for taking us along on the shop hop...I liked all the quilts, the one from Quilts Etc very nice...
I can't pick a favorite...I just can't...they are all just amazing...I think I'm beginning to hyperventilate...off to get a brown paper bag. Thank you so much Rae Ann...this has just been the most wonderful!
The shop hop looks like it was a blast. Love a lot of the quilts in the last store. I'm a scrappy girl...

What a fantastic show and tell RaeAnn and what fun. I have worked in a patchwork shop all day and have come home to drool over even more love;y quilty things. You have made it so hard to choose but Very Berry is may favourite, closely followed by the hexagon quilt. Love Shirley.
I love hexagon quilts - the one from Quilting Cottage is lovely. Thanks for sharing all the photos - it was wonderful to see!
Oh my! How to choose? I think I'm in love with the "Very Berry" one near the top. It's great to see all the wonderful quilts. Thanks!
Hi Rae Ann, How on earth did you actually get yourself out of that shop!!!! I love all the quilts. Did you try and stick a couple up your top and walk out?? Lol. Just kidding......was I? giggle giggle. Kind regards, Anita.
My favorite is Pocketful of Pinwheels. It's the quilt on the left in the third picture under Ann of Green Gables. I'm planning on doing this quilt for my bedroom as soon as I find the fabric that I fall in love with for it!!

Love the houses with the applique and prairie points and that vintage quilt is amazing!
wow--how do you just pick one--i think my favorite is the circles quilt that looks like the circles (divided into wedges) was appliqued onto one piece of white background fabric. thanks for taking all the pictures and posting them--so much fun to drool over them!
As this is strawberry season here, Very Berry spoke to me today. Love It!
Love the post. Loved seeing the local quilts. Always a treat. And I really love your new header!
I'm gaga about hexies this summer. That 6-part hexagon at Quilters Cottage will be next when you select my name. Thanks.
