Another Year of Clothesline Club!

I have gotta tell ya... one of the most fun things I do each month is go to Clothesline Club at Quilts, Etc. where we receive a new project for the month, share cool quilting histories, recipes, and ALWAYS have the most incredible "Show and Tell". Sit back... put your feet up... you are in for a real TREAT!

Here is a glimpse of our "New" BOM for the year.
Sandra is showing us one of this month's project.
I love this gal... she is so much fun! Truly...
she is the thread that holds us all together.
This quilt top was purchased by Sandra for $5.00. She spied it in a garbage can while jogging one morning. Someone had taken this beautiful 1930 pieced top and put a back on it and tied it together. She brought it home, took it apart and ended up with quite a treasure!
We have such a GREAT group of gals and this year it just got better. My dear friend, Helen Brustch, is back after taking a year off.

Here she is showing us her apron that
she made for Clothesline Club.
It has always been a tradition for us to all wear aprons.
Another one of my dear BFF Susann has joined us along with a few others, so we are bound to have a
"FABULOUS YEAR".
Wonderful thirties quilt!
WOW... Someone has been very busy!
Don't ya love the vintage flour sacks?
Simply sweet quilt!
Becky showed us a darling vintage apron...
and her latest antiquing finds.

We are having a block exchange next month
and Julie's block is SO stinking cute!
Julie made a cute two sided quilt. Love it!
Lucinda showed us her 1930's Amish quilt
that she bought for herself for her birthday.
It's in the most amazing condition. Such a beauty!
The quilt had been entirely hand quilted.
Of course I was drooling at this point!
My FAVORITE!!!
Cute... I love anything Dick and Jane.
Robin's block is one gorgeous block and...
her Halloween quilt was over the top!
I am going to have to make this one for sure!
Pat showed us her antique marble
 rolling pin that she inherited...
and this cute Halloween quilt.
She also shared her darling baby hoodie blankets
that she designs and makes to sell on Etsy.
Michelle came in this darling apron that her
friend made for her to wear on Halloween.
She and her grandma pieced this beautiful quilt while
she was staying with her, using her grandma's stash.
What a special memory!
Kathleen shared with us her fabulous book...
Carrie Hall Blocks... which features over 800
blocks with their names and patterns.
All of the blocks were made between 1900 and 1935.
A must have for 30 lovers like myself!
(Got mine on order!)
She showed us last months finished project...
this adorable little apron tea towel.
Wonderful quilt made with Moda's Bliss line.
Another great quilt... Lucy's I believe!
Lucy's basket quilt was another favorite of mine.
That Lucy had more to show than anyone.
Looks like she was very productive at her retreat.
Lucy's incredible exchange block!
I can't hardly wait!!!

Judy was talking about using her tea
towel as a bib. LOL!
Absolutley wonderful quilt by Judy!
Of course... you know I adore pinwheels!

A close up of the apron tea towel.
How cute is this!
The gal that made this (forgive me for not remembering her name) just joined us. Her blocks were from the evening Clothesline Club exchange.
Darling quilt!

Hope you felt a part of it all... loved having you stop by!!!

What fabulous projects!!!! I would love to make the witch's leg quilt. Do you know what pattern it is?

I made that first quilt for our son and DIL for their wedding a few years ago. It turned out great and they loved it.

Do you ever allow guests to come? What a treat that would be! You gals are amazing and the quilts more so - I loved them all...and now, after seeing the Halloween witch's boots quilt I'm going to have to make it! I bought a pattern about 5 years ago that's still "aging"...maybe it will be ready NEXT year! Thanks! xo, Nan
