Happy Mail!

I came home to "Happy Mail," not to be confused with "Happy Meal," however, I feel like I have been fed just the same! The difference is I crave the first more than the latter. The first seems to be more satisfying than the other and last lots longer than the one. I'm not trying to confuse you, simply trying to amuse you!

I was so excited my Aunt Gracie, thirties fabric came. It is one fabric that I can seem to never have enough of. I heard the thirties fabrics are kind of becoming a thing of the past and that we won't be seeing nearly as much of them. Hearing this, I got straight online and did a little shopping. I was happy to come across these pieces that actually were from the year 2006. I do not know how these little darlings slipped past me, but they did!
I am very pleased I found them. They are some of the sweetest!

I  guess I am off to pet my fabric and dream a little!

Very few stores carry 30's type fabrics here, but one I was at yesterday had theirs for 40% off. I wish I knew what you liked, because I'd pick some up for you.
Happy petting.

That's too bad that they are going out of style. Smart of you to snatch some up. I will always love '30s fabrics. They are just happy. I am making my Schnibbles quilt this month with '30s fabrics and enjoying every minute!

They're so pretty! Do you have a plan for them?

I'm doing some of my own hoarding. I see some new 30s cropping up here and there but quilt stores are not carrying them as much so we have to look online. However, Nadine at Material Girls says she'll always carry them. That made me feel "safe".
