I'm SEW Up To Something!

Last week I spent some time working on a little project that I have been needing to get done... so now... I thought I might share it with you!

This is the first block that I finished.
The more I made... the more I fell in love with this block. I think I could go about making these all day... they're so fun!
Now... I can't show you more because I have sent it off to the quilter already. But...
I will be back Wednesday to show you the finished project! Any guesses?

Have a very productive Monday!

A wall-hanging or throw for July 4th??? (Kind of a "lame" guess since it seems obvious that it's SOMETHING for the 4th with the fabrics you chose!!! LOL)

Just beautiful, Rae Ann!! Love the block too, I can see why you need to keep going. Looking forward to seeing it all complete.

Happy upcoming July 4th, looks like you will be ready. I'm going to have to go thru my stash, this block in the colors you have shown will make a perfect QOV. What size is your finished block, and do you have a pattern coming out, or a link to send us to?

Hmmm, those blocks could be any size. It's definitely something for the 4th of July or maybe a QOV. I'll stay tuned. Love those fabrics!

I'm glad you have finally had a little time to sew, after being nurse for James the last week or so.
I know what the design is because you gave me the pattern and fabric to make one too. But I won't tell and ruin the intrigue.

I'm amazed you can get it back from the quilter's that fast. It takes me 6-9 months to get a project back. The patriotic flag I just sent off won't be able to be used until next July (2011)! Lucky you to get it back so fast. Love these stars! What are they called? I'd love to incorporate them in a project I have waiting in the wings.

Would it be stars and stripes for the 4th July? Your stars are gorgeous, looking forward to seeing what you have made.
