A Little Cabin Delight

It's that time of year and the cabin was calling my name... so I have run off to the mountains with a few of my most special friends to have a little quilting fun.

I am sorry that I didn't have time to answer your sweet comments that you left me on my last post because of how crazy my schedule has been and all that I had to do to prepare to go. I always love hearing from you all and chatting back at ya so... I PROMISE... I will communicate with you all as soon as I am home. The cabin doesn't have internet so I have to travel a ways to town, go into the cafe or sit in my car to use my computer.

(WELL... I couldn't get this to launch there... so I am home tonight and here goes!)

My dear friend Lori from Bee in My Bonnet
headed up with me Thursday to prepare the cabin
and have things ready for the girls coming later.
This is what greeted us shortly after our arrival.
You know me and sunsets!
I can't seem to get enough of them.
OH... was it ever a beauty!
And... I had a hard time letting it go.
Well, here are the cute gals that are
with me and they all say "HI"!
L to R...
Jackie, Nedra, Judi, Me, Lori, and Susann.

Nothing is more special than having beautiful friendships with wonderful women like these and being able to join with them in doing the fun things that you love... like QUILTING... and... EATING CHOCOLATE...
of course!

Now girls... don't trip out on me...but come again soon because I have tons of fabulous show and tell coming up that I am anxious to share with you.

Until then...
HAPPY QUILTING MY FRIENDS!!!
Chat back at ya soon! :)

It surely looks like the perfect place to get away with friends to quilt, eat chocolate and visit.

I love the sunsets. I think it's because I love pinks and purples.

Welcome home! Your quilting get-away with friends sounds heavenly. I did so enjoy my get-away with 3 other friends earlier this month. Thanks for sharing your sunset photos!

Hmm, Rae Ann, chocolates, quilts, friends and beautiful sunsets. Don't know which order of importance to put them in, need them all in equal measure. I just love that photo of your cabin, it looks amazing.
Love Shirley.
