First things first my mom would say...
so let me start out by showing you the giftie things
that the girls brought to spoil me and others.
Lori brought me this darling pincushion that she made.
Attached to it was this darling little card. So cute!
Then as a Hostess gift she gave me the most incredible gift...
that brought tears to my eyes!
It was Lori's Apron pattern that she had designed,
along with individual kits for each block that
she had hand picked the fabric for and assembled together.
As if that wasn't enough... she had gone ahead
and prepared 5 of the quilt blocks and had them ready
for me to start appliquéing. No lie... can you believe it?
After being so touched by it all… I just happen to look
a little further and to my amazement I found…
these two adorable... perfect... masterpiece blocks...
that she had already completed for me!
I cried!
Thanks Lori.. you're a dear!
Then cute little Miss Jackie gave us all some floss,
a hoop, and this great pattern ..."Blessings and Virtues"
by our friend Amy from "Under The Garden Moon".
What a fun gift! She is the sweetest girl!
She also gave me this adorable piece of fabric.
She must know my love of aprons. Too cute!
This box of exquisite chocolates (notice one missing :})
were given to us by none other than our special
Miss Judi herself.
Remember... she is the one that has the blog
"Live Well with Judi". Well we sure did!
She knew just what to feed us girls to keep us going.
Very kind indeed!
Very kind indeed!
This beautiful hostess gift was given to me by Nedra.
It just happens to be the cutest little sewing box ever
and it was filled with a ton of wonderful tools.
She also brought each of us one of her beautiful crocheted
potholders that she made and a few quilt labels.
Not to mention our favorite caramel popcorn!
What a sweetheart you are Nedra!
Now... how cute is this apron that Susann made
for each of us to wear while we were quilting away?
It is made from a dish towel... believe it or not!
It's so adorable just like her! Very sweet...thanks!
She also gave me a gorgeous necklace with hearts
and a David Archuleta CD as a "Thank You". Too kind!
I sure am blessed having these wonderful women
in my life and love them all just like sisters.
Geepers... I felt SO SPOILED!
I didn't even get this much for Christmas last year.
Next...
Evenings usually found us out and about
taking walks along the mountain road
and enjoying the scenery.
Everything was so beautiful and green.
There was even snow atop some of the mountains.
The lilacs were still in full bloom
and I couldn't help but stop long enough to
snap a few pictures and smell of their beautiful fragrance.
As you know... everything must come to an end...
but I will be back with more to share.
Projects day coming up tomorrow!
See ya then!
