Summer seems to be the time for travel and as a result we are blessed to be able to meet up with some very great gals from the blogging world as they travel through Utah. Today just happened to be one of those days.
Sherri from A Quilting Life was in town for the day
so we all decided to meet up at one of our
"FAVORITE" hangouts... Gardner's Village...
so we could do a little shopping at Pine Needles.
L to R... Me, Susann, Nanette, Sherri, LeAnn, and Lori.
For those of you that don't know...this is also
where we took Jodi (R) from Pleasant Home last week.
Here she is with Holly (L)... the shop owner's sister.
Now I need to tell you a little something about these girls!
Whenever they know that they are getting together...
they always bring you a little "Welcome" gift.
This darling fabric and hexagons came from Sherri.
So sweet!
You can see that she has been busy using her
Nanette from Freda's Hive blessed us with a bundle of the CUTEST
vintage fabric squares from her stash.
It made my heart sing!
Lori from Bee in my Bonnet of course was the one
to grace us with this most adorable "Busy Bee" that
she had dressed in an apron that she made.
Check out her blog for "Busy Bee Wears an Apron".
Lots of beautiful things to see... so sit back
and let me share some great eye candy with you!!
I bought fabric to make this... I loved it so much!
Our next stop was Material Girls...
where I met this cute gal... Penny from Quilt2sr5.
She recognized us from our blogs and stopped me to say Hello!
Another BBFF! (Blogging Buddie Friend Forever) Love it!
Sherri got right after it...
finding things that she couldn't live without!
That so reminded me of how Judi was last week.
Gotta love it!
Well... if you know Lori...
she has always got something up her sleeve!
She had been out and about the other day and decided to
stop off at her favorite thrift store just long enough
to go inside and come out with a gift for ME.
That little stinker! No... I take that back.
That little sweetie!
Oh... yes... it is an APRON! A crocheted one at that!
HOW CUTE IS THIS!!!
I came close to dying right there on the spot.
Thanks tons Lori! Love, love, love it!
Happy Day... Happy Friends... Happy Everyting!

I love that bag you got the fabric to make....what pattern is it please? Hugs Naomi
What a great day out shopping with like minded friends. I just love that star pattern with the flower centre. That may just have to go on my list. Do you have details of what the pattern is and where I can buy it.
Love Shirley.x
What an incredible day's shopping, and I loved all of the eye candy.
