Las Vegas was our choice of destination this year for Spring Break mainly because it is warm and we have family living there. My boys love being with their cousins!
I love being with family as well but beside that I love going to one of my favorite quilt shops in the world… Christmas Goose!
This is my sweet sister-in-law Bonnie. She is the one
that first introduced me to this wonderful place.
that first introduced me to this wonderful place.
Upon arriving we were greeted by my dear friend Andrea…
and her sweet mom... Jeanette...
the owner of the shop... working away on her little
Singer featherweight.
Singer featherweight.
This store just screams welcome to me. I love it!
The projects and quilts… I simply adore!
They are always diplayed so cute!
This quilt the projects are on is to die for~
Little quilts... big quilts...
you find them hanging everywhere
and on everything!
I even came across some great items
made with that fun Texture Magic.
Check out this darling pattern... Snap Happy!
It 's a pattern for three small purses
made by Stitchin' Sisters.
The brown one is made with Texture Magic.
Then Andrea showed me one of my favorite things...
Little Bits ~ Diamond Log Cabin ~ by Cindy Edgerton.
Wow! This looks like a lot of work...but I loved it and immediately I thought...
SCRAPS!!!
I even met a few new friends... Riann, Jordan, and Lola!
The rest will be a tour of the store and some close up of quilts...so you can see why it is that I love it so much!
I am making this one!
Hope you enjoyed your trip with me to the"Christmas Goose" in
Las Vegas!
I will be back later to show you a few things that I did buy and fabric wasn't among them! How cool is that for helping control my fabric addiction!

Well, Rae Anne, That is one fabulous patchwork shop. I can see why you have it as your favourite. What a lot of lovely quilts on display, it must be like going to
an exhibition. What great control you had not buying any fabric. Hmmm, my viewers choice quilt would have to be the log cabin with the houses. Can't wait to see more.

i love the blue quilt, it is one I made in red with Bonnie K. Hunter as a mystery quilt.

I'm kicking myself. I just took a quick trip to Las Vegas and didn't look up this store. I'll have to go next time.
I made that Halloween quilt! The embroidery went faster than I thought it would and it all came together beautifully. I have a lot of pictures on my blog if you want to see how mine turned out.
I love that diamond log cabin. I could look at it all day.
That looks like such a fun shop! The blue one really speaks to me...
This shop is my all time favorite quilt shop in the country. The fact that the Bead and Stamp store sit right next to it is a bonus.
