Well...today as I was shinning the outside of my refrigerator I came across one of my favorite quotes that I had put up at Thanksgiving ....and it just happens to be entitled...Choices. So I thought I would like to share it with you because we all have choices to make, especially in quilting!
Choices
Decisions, choices, options...Those words delineate freedom and control over various aspects of life. They also strike fear into the heart, mostly because of the chance that your choice will be WRONG! But not making a choice is itself a choice with a full spectrum of consequences. You can't not choose, so choose wisely. Don't worry about making a mistake - that just gives you the opportunity to learn something you didn't know before.
When you have to make a choice and don't make it, that is in itself a choice.
-William James

All so true! Love the little quilt you have there too! :0)
Thanks for you comment, i also have 7 grandchilden and every one is very special in their on way.HAPPT QUILTING!
The older I get the harder it is for me to easily choose. I think when we are young we don't worry enough and now that I'm so OLD I worry too much about what I should do and what is the best way to do something.
I like your quotes too. Thanks for coming by my blog.
That is a good, thought-provoking quote. It puts me into motion tonight, no kidding! Last night at quilt class, someone questioned a color choice of mine, and I defended it, but it did slow my process. "What if she is right?"
I'm gonna go ahead and sew my choices, and love it (i hope!)!
Hi Pokey!
Happy that my quote helped. I am even happier that you chose not to listen to the gal that questioned your choice of color. My mother always said...don't let ohters dictate to your heart...just go with what your heart feels and most likely it will always be right. I say....you are so right...Sew your choices and LOVE IT!!
Hugs!

I wish I had known this quote earlier in my life, because I would have shared it with my children. (I will now) Very true words!
