Neat! Neat! Retreat!

56 Women.... Quilting.... Stitching.... Food.... Fun.... Laughter.... what could be better than that?!? We had quite the blast at the American Quilting Retreat held at the Marriott Hotel.
Our host was the store owner Amy!
She is the reason we all had so much fun!
Amy on the right with her niece Amy...
going over things... making sure all is right!
Amy's sweet mom... Elizabeth...
showing us the beautiful bags that they made.
My friend Diana is working on her
bag after the class. She was
thinking it might make a cute apron.
Kim taught the dresden plate class and
Jackie is going to town on getting her's done!
How cute is Lori! She seems so intense
on getting her dresden's done.
She's using beautiful Kaffe fabrics.
Lisa is showing us
 the cute apron she made.
I love how she used
a vintage potholder to adorn the pocket....

and a vintage doily around the neck. To top it off
she placed a vintage pin in the middle of the doily.
Sherrie's got the right idea... don't you think!
I think I should have followed her around.
Then there is Amy...
she is sniffing out the chocolate in the room.
Hummm...Yummm!
Cute Susann's trying to get her salad eaten...
so she can get to the real food!
I think I would have eaten this dessert first!
Kim's taking a break to get a few shots off.
Be sure and check out her blog to see more!
Check out this adorable picture of Nanette...
Oh... and the darling quilt!
I love all that she does. She did a wonderful
trunk show for us that I just happened to miss
because I thought that it was an hour later. :(
This is the sweet gal that I met last year
and adopted as my second daughter.
She just happens to bare my name...
Kayla Rae.
I sure had fun hanging out with my good buddies...
Diana, Kim, Lori, and Susann!

I will be back tomorrow with more. Until then... go by and check out my friend's blogs to see more about the retreat. I have linked them all!

Gosh what an amazing retreat Rae Ann, looks top class. I love the bag pattern block. I am visualising it in a table topper.
You all look like you are having so much fun.

Thanks for sharing the pictures from your retreat. You make friends where ever you go!
Judi and I are here at Bryce. Barely. Huge snow storm about blocked the pass. But we are safe and (somewhat!) sound. We may not get out, but we figure we have quilt supplies and food, so nothing else matters!

You took some great pictures Rae Ann. I didn't have my camera when Lisa showed up wearing her apron. I really loved what she did to her apron. So cute and retro. I love seeing the dresden blocks too. It was fun teaching them.
