May I Just Say... I Love Clothesline Club!

Clothesline Club is somehting I look forward to every month. The group of  ladies that are in our club, are the greatest and so full of talent!

These are two of Sandra's great quilts.
This is the one that she designed
as her last year's signature quilt.
(Wish I had taken my better camera!)
How cute is this one! I love the color combination.
Sandra BTW is our leader and always does a fine job.
I have really enjoyed learning from her and
getting to know her. She is a large bundle of energy
in a small package... and very electrifying in the
case of... charging us up and keeping us going.
Thanks Sandra... just love ya!
Her two little quilts are way so adorable...
and I think they will be our next month's
extra project... if I heard right!
What's fun about this club is that you get to
bring your family heirlooms and vintage items...
as well as things that you have made for
 "Show and Tell".
Vintage... you KNOW that I am all over that!
I shared this picture of my great grandmother,
the figurine that she gave me from Occupied Japan...
that she had won at her weekly card game
and the beautiful afghan that she made
for my grandmother's wedding.
I will treasure this lovely thing forever!
I even decided to show this quilt that I had sitting
around forever. It was one of the first quilts
that I ever started.

I actually finished it in January but forgot to show you!
My apron that I am wearing was also made
by my great grandma.
Speaking of aprons... My good friend Lori's  daughter...
Cassidy came and joined us for the day.
She was wearing an adorable apron that
Lori had purchased for her at a boutique.
My friend Robin finished this cute little quilt and...
shared with us her father's boyhood glass
toy train that use to be filled with candy.

Well.... let's just say... there is so many more
beautiful things that I want to show you!
I will be bringing you "Part Two" tomorrow!

MORE TO COME!!!

She sounds like a bundle of energy too.

What gorgeous items you were able to share. That afghan is beautiful as is your red and white quilt.

Rae Ann, you and your apron are just adorable! I love seeing Clothesline Club on Lori's blog and it is fun to see it through your eyes too, especially because we get to see Lori and Cassidy -- was cuties! The bedspread that was your grandmothers is so beautiful! And I love your red & white quilt. Looking forward to part II tomorrow!

It was fun to see your version of the Clothsline Club, after Lori's post. And especially because I saw pictures of Lori and her cute daughter. Looking forward to part 2.

Your pictures of those beautiful quilts makes me wish I'd brought some hand-work along with me! I'm visiting my daughter, and while I'm sitting around at night I could be working on a wonderful quilt! Oh well, glad I at least got to see some! xo, Nan
