I talked to my daughter today and she shared with me the sweetest thing... my seven year old grandson's prayer. So sweet that I just had to share!
Jacob’s Prayer for the people of Chile...
"Please help the poor people that they can get a house, or even a cave to live in and that they can also get weapons so they can hunt for food! Then please bless the robbers, because they probably have some good in them. Help them to want to do what's right."
Oh... If we could all be as little children... the world would be such a great place!

He has a thorough understanding - he should teach the rest of us.
:-) Thank you for sharing - sweet story.
You are right...out of the mouth of babes.
You are so right, out of the mouth of babes.
How true Rae Anne, children see life so simple. My daughter and her boyfriend were in Chile backpacking just a few months ago and I am so grateful that they are home, they cannot believe that the roads they have travelled are so devastated. We have a lot to be grateful for.

What a blessing to have a little boy like that in the family!!!
So precious and honest!!
Such wise words from a 7 year old.
This comment is for Jacob.
Jacob, you are such a senitive spirit. I know Hevenly Father is so proud of you to think and pray for others.
When you are 16, I want to line you up for a date with my 7 year old granddaughter, Emma.
Your grammy's friend, Susann
Children are a blessing! Kind regards, Anita.
That brought tears to my eyes. What a sweet prayer. My son is a missionary right now serving in the Chile Concepcion mission in the town of Tome...We still haven't heard from him. Just the report that they are all "safe and accounted for" As his mom I want more. Tell your grandson thank you.
That's so sweet, I can't stand it. He's been taught well and paid attention to not only his mom's & Grammie's teachings, but obviously has been listening to the news. He's a tender boy. Hugs
How do children know what to pray for sometimes. They are so pure and I guess that is why Jesus said let the little children come to him.
Your grandson does not look to happy though.
